House of Commons Oral Questions

Oral Questions are questions that are tabled by an MP in person or by another MP or Member acting on his or her behalf. Use this dataset:

  • to explore which questions to the government are asked by different MPs.

This dataset contains Oral Questions tabled by Members of the House of Commons for answer during Question Time. NB, once questions have been answered, the transcript is recorded in Hansard.

This provides a user interface which allows you to search and download this dataset using multiple filters.Selecting this option will show you the first few records from the dataset and then allow you to select data from the dataset by filtering on any of the attributes for a House of Commons oral question. You will then be able to download or display the data in the following formats: CSV (e.g. for use in Microsoft Excel), TTL, Text, XML, JSON or RDF (e.g. for developers)
